Own a Day stores only what the free board needs to operate and resist basic abuse.
Data we use
Submitted URLs, public page metadata, tile settings, action history, and an opaque anonymous browser identifier.
Cookies
A strictly necessary HttpOnly cookie remembers the anonymous browser cooldown and current hold. There is no account or advertising cookie.
Security signals
Network addresses may be transformed into salted one-way hashes for short-window abuse limits. Raw addresses are not stored in claim history.
Public information
A submitted URL, hostname, icon, tile, and Claim or Steal history are displayed publicly by design.
